For more than two
decades, Advanced Data Systems (ADS) has been providing state of the art

MedicsElite™
About three years
ago, ADS brought the latest in the ADS family of products to market:
MedicsElite™. A true Microsoft™ Windows™ Graphical User Interface (GUI)
system, MedicsElite empowers the medical practice with Windows GUI
functionality for Electronic Claims / EDI, Appointment Scheduling /
Recalls, Managed Care tracking, Prescription Writing, Letters, built-in
Scanning, and a full array of medical Practice Management Reports.
MedicsElite was under
development for more than six years prior to its initial release. To
date, over five hundred medical practices utilize the MedicsElite
system.
MedicsElite gives
true meaning to the phrase “user defined.” It is flexible and capable of
adapting to the user’s requirements. MedicsElite (with practice
Administrator approval) allows the user to save report parameters and to
sort the report in a number of ways that best suit the user. Users can
select their preferred screen colors and personalize their own views.
Intersystems’ Cache™
database utilized by MedicsElite is widely respected and is used in some
of the largest and most sophisticated healthcare (and non-healthcare)
settings globally. Cache is fast, responsive, and reliable.
MedicsElite
architecture itself makes for a real-time / on-line system eliminating
those annoying “Waiting to Process” messages during screen changes. It
also results in system data becoming available to all users immediately
across the enterprise, without first having to perform a daily close.
About ADS
The ADS client base
is comprised of all possible system configurations ranging from single
provider / single user systems to multi-user / multi-location /
multi-specialty practices.
Unlike many other
practice management vendors, ADS has never changed its name, has never
been taken over by another vendor, has never taken over another vendor,
and has never forced its clients to move to (and pay for) another
system. ADS has remained an independent company providing the industry’s
finest products and services.
ADS produces its own
software and is not a second or third party vendor of another company’s
products.
ADS has a highly
vested interest in its products and services since one hundred percent
of the company’s revenue is derived from them. Vendors of another
company’s system can - and often do - walk away from their
“currently-being-sold” system in favor of another product, leaving their
clients in limbo.
Systems from ADS are
configured, trained, supported and updated by ADS employees. ADS
maintains fully staffed Software and Hardware Support, Installation,
Training, Research and Development, Sales, and Administrative
Departments.
ADS and HIPAA
Ongoing ADS software
support includes all Version upgrades, Module Enhancements, and
governmentally required changes such as HIPAA. Clients of ADS do not
have to be concerned about obtaining any required changes. These are
provided automatically at no additional cost as a benefit that comes
with having software support.
With specific regard
to HIPAA, all ADS clients will have their ADS Application Software
become HIPAA compliant prior to the current deadline date. ADS takes
great pride that in over twenty years of operation, ADS has never missed
any governmentally required changes. ADS is a HIPAA compliant company
with all appropriate ADS employees having attended HIPAA training
classes to become familiarized with the proper safeguarding of clients’
patient data. ADS has two HIPAA compliance officers on staff to ensure
HIPAA integrity at all times.
ADS is fully prepared
to provide HIPAA Business Partner Agreements and HIPAA Statements of
Practices.
ADS has performed
hundreds of data conversions from numerous other systems. There are also
hundreds of ADS interfaces with other systems and entities such as
hospitals, clinical labs, pharmacies, and electronic medical records (EMRs).
ADS maintains its
Corporate Office in Maywood NJ which services the entire NY metropolitan
area, with regional offices in Plymouth Meeting PA, Laurel MD, and Boca
